I have found Ebay is a brilliant way to get the paints i want, for a lot less of the shipping. Plus ebay allows a relationship with the seller.

Just quickly, i love montana 94. Each can comes with a cap designed for pressure sensitivity - good for reducing over spray around fine edges, and the paint itself is finer and gives a more even coverage when compared to ironlak etc; which is what i was using at first but was just too uneven and prone to clogging.

Hello, everyone! I live in a state where the laws suck and you can only buy paint f you're above 18. Any hints as to how to get paint? I don't have any friends over 18 who would buy paint for me, sadly.

You either rack it, or if you have the money, order it online.

Definatly for me its either montana 94 or montana hardcore but recently i got some cash and experimented with montana gold which is super . i bought say 4 or 5 cans of normal colours which work great and i got 5 chrome gold silver and copper which are a majour dissapointment i dont know if its a recouring problem or if i bought a bad batch but all 4 of the 5 cans valves are bust so that the cap wont fit on and if it does the pain dosnt come out it just leakes all over the can ..... has anybody else had this problem ?? its a real bitch considering its not cheap at 9.50 euro a can !
also has anybody tried the montana spider web cans i want to try some but i dont have any experimenting money ha ah |

This is most likely been discussed before...
How do you USE Belton? >.> Or for what? I got some the other day (it was for a stencil, I guess Belton just isn't made for stencils...), and was surprised by the tremendous amount of paint that came out when I sprayed. I tried it freehand just to get a better for it, but the paint was actually dripping because there was too much of it in one spot, even though I moved the can real fast. Do you guys usually let some of the pressure out first or move the can as fast as you can or what? |

It's like really..."industrial"... i guess. Really high pressure, a lotta paint. It's tar based. I mean use it if you are doing a really large area, and if you want that stuff to last. It also will go on in any conditions. When i was using it with Peat, it was like 35 degrees out and sleeting, in the middle of a busy street. HORRIBLE feeling, but the paint worked, and it's lasted. |

But you don't have problems with drip due to the fact that too much paint is getting on one spot? I like the paint, just not the way it comes out. Maybe I just need to practice with it some...

Maybe I just need to practice with it some... hold your can farther away from the stencil and wall. you wont get as much paint on it that way, and thus cutting down on the dripping |

Hey quick off topic question, as anyone tried Artissin Aerosol's spray?
http://www.artissin.com/ Caught my eye by the shape of the can, only 10 colors i know but i was kinda intrigued to find such a small time graff specific spray, reminded me of when Ironlak first showed up. Anyway, couldn't find a review on it, anyone here got an opinion? |

Thanks, Oliver, I'll do that for now, but I think next time I get Belton will be for something other than stencilling.
Sprat, those cans/bottles look cool, no idea about 'em, sorry... |

Interesting design, what was it for? I guess I just prefer low pressure, but I definitely won't let that stop me from trying out Belton some more!

Vengeful Stick: if you think it is too high pressure, turn the can upside down and spray, let some of the propellent out. |

Hi just let you know were real people at ARTISSIN.com if you have any questions about the paint I'd love to answer them my name has the email in it. I've been a graphic designer, traditional marker artist and writer for 10 years and I also am now getting into using stencils. Goodluck on learning the ropes it takes a couple months of practice to get great lines an kill over-spray.

Thought i would post up my experiences of Illuminarty paints so far:
![]() http://www.illuminartycolors.com/ Main point is that they only cost £1.85 a can and comes with a reasonable outline cap (also its only £6.50 delivery or free if you spend £90). The colour of the cans is marked by a sticker on the lid and on the body rather than any ring. Having given em a decent shake the first second or so of spray from a fresh can is weird silly string stuff but then that stops and all is good. Haven't tried out many of the colours yet but the Orange and Yellow Green i tried were very bright and the black was really nice and deep. Only thing that i have noticed is that when trying to cover black with orange it still showed through (with 1 coat). I've heard them compared to Ironlak, seems reasonable if they are both made at a cheap price in the far east. There are proper reviews here: http://hurtyoubad.com/?p=839 http://hurtyoubad.com/?p=1144 http://hurtyoubad.com/?p=4617 http://www.writersdelight.co.uk/?p=522 ![]() Couple of bits painted with it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/morn-one/3855884642/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/purecbm/3864842805/ Youtube vid with someone using it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0YFagMk5qs |

Looks pretty thin.
What's up with that stringy stuff on the first spray? Ironlak does that too and I absolutely hate it. I guess I really don't like Ironlak much anyways, I'm a Clash guy. Thanks for sharing. |

Thanks for sharing. Ironlak acts like silly string sometimes since it's a heavy pigment paint. It's not exactly 75% alcohol and 25% paint pigments like walmart Colorplace ahha. I hated that too (only got it once though) but if you shake it nicely before you paint it should be fine. |

Yeah i'm fairly sure that its thinner than the premium paints, thing is that is like 40% cheaper than most of them (£1.85 vs around £3.15). The silly string thing seems weird but fine, i wonder if its even just some kind of initial sealant in the top of the can.
