The still ongoing bush fires in Victoria have left thousands of people homeless, the death toll keeps going up and wildlife and nature have suffered massively. These are worst bush fires this country has ever seen!

Sketch City, Melbourne Stencil Festival, No Vacancy and Villain have come together to put on a Street Art Auction to raise funds for the Red Cross and Help for Wildlife.
We invite all artists to donate one painting, in helping us raise much needed funds for bushfire victims great and small.

How will funds be raised:
- Auction of 30 pieces at No Vacancy
- Raffle with 10 - 20 paintings on Auction night ($5 per ticket or 5 for $20)
- Online Auction via e-bay of all other works during the week of the auction
- Gold coin donations for drinks

Where will the funds go to:
- 75% Red Cross www.redcross.org.au
- 25% Help for Wildlife www.helpforwildlife.com

The details:
Due Date:
- Saturday 7 March (earlier if possible)

Where to drop of works:
- Sketch City 25 Eastment st, Northcote
- Frank Lohmoller Level 1, 274 Barkly Street, Brunswick ph: 0415 605 543 (call prior)
- Villain 554 Sydney Rd, Brunswick

Postal address:
- Attn: Frank Lohmoller, Level 1, 274 Barkly Street, Brunswick

Please have works ready to hang
Provide artist name, title and a short bio with your piece.
It would be appreciated if wrapped in bubble wrap.

Auction held at:
- No Vacancy Gallery

Date of auction:
- Friday 13 March, 7pm onwards

We'll have a website up and running with a gallery of artwork available with a link to online auction
www.streetartforashes.org (coming soon)

Ill be donating as soon as possible (once I get my backed up projects finished). I wish there was more I could do. If you could post the shipping address in a clearer way (sorry, I'm a bit handicapped when it comes to foreign shipping addresses) that would be wonderful.

Cheers and best wishes

the auctioneer has been confirmed: it will be the infamous and surely most entertaining and best dressed Andrew Gaynor -- well know to Melbourne's street art fans from the past 5 years of Stencil Festival Charity Auctions.
of course there will also be DJs and possibly even live bands ... stay tuned for more infos.

... and send us your art!!
