Photo challenge number uhh... 4 (I think)
Right - I'm making this totally wide open, basically people can put stuff in - if they can justify it - no need to be near the wilderness, or cities, or big nasty animals or whatever - it's what you can go out and grab. Points based - people vote once on each category - the person with the most votes wins and makes the next competition. Five categories - they're loose, use your imagination. Constructed (set the subject up for the camera rather than finding it). Social/portrait (interaction n' people n' shit) wildlife (is animals n' shit) reflection/illusion (using stuff to make other stuff look like still other stuff) food (uhh... you get that, no?) Deadline is june 30. Feel free to ask questions. A reminder of the rules No old photos to be used, please shoot all 5 within now up and the deadline. No excessive photoshopping No stealing of other peoples photographs Any format can be used, digital or film No day-late entries.... If you're late - you're out, no exceptions.. When you post your photos, please make the longest side 650px. (you can also post a link to a larger version if needed) Only people who entered this competition will be allowed to vote. voting lasts till the 5th of july - Sunday (5 days) Then the winner has to pick up the ball. First come first served, no dates. but the cut off is absolute. [edit] oh yes - put them in as a set - not one at a time. -------------------- And thats about when my tourettes kicked in.

Ok, so i've shot maybe 12 rolls of film - though I have no idea if any are appropriate/useful.
I tend to just pick up a camera when i leave the house. -------------------- And thats about when my tourettes kicked in.

I have to turn mine in early because I'm working shit hours so yeah.

I struggled a bit to fit the categories... been flat out lately and had a killer flu, so I pretty much just had to grab shots from what I've been shooting lately.
Constructed/Set Up Had a few glasses of wine with some friends the other night and set up a projector linked to a laptop & WACOM tablet, started projecting things onto people & taking photos. Got a bunch more of these I'll be showing off soon  Photo in the back is my dad about 30 years ago, and he still looks almost exactly the same. Some Dorian Gray shit right there. Food Out & about in Fitzory late one Friday... this guy was baking like a champ in the middle of the night.  Reflection/Illusion Self portrait on the way out of work.  Social/Portrait Late night burgers. This is my friend Kel.  Wildlife I was so stumped for this one until I remembered this photo, now I think it's my favourite. It's from this theme restaurant called Volcano Joe's... it's full of animals and fake trees and jungle type stuff. Way cute!

Yup, fair enough Recovering from surgery and moving house is a double fucker, but I still should have had something, I"m not a 'he' BTW
I can't vote, as stated in the rules. But my votes would go like; Wildlife; - Fickle - that whole scene is amazingly banal - love it. Social; - Socalmx - great shot.
