Norman Rockwell Art Prints & Paintings
Norman Rockwell is a prolific American painter who has created thousands of amazing works. Norman is most well known for his work on the Saturday Evening post and his long relationship with the Boy Scouts of America. For over 60 years Norman created all the print and promotional material for the BSA, an incredible long professional relationship. As with most famous artists he began receiving lots of attention in his later years. Rockwell even did some work for Coca Cola and illustrated some popular books like Huckleberry Finn. Some called Norman more of an "illustrator" than an artist but he welcomed that description. Rockwell died from Emphysema at the age of 84 on November 8th of 1978. His amazing body of work will live on and always be an important part of 20th century U.S. history.

What Did Norman Rockwell Influence with his Paintings?
Well his portfolio of work and accomplishments are nothing to sneeze at. For starters there is even a film (Empire of the sun) in which the main character is based on his painting "Freedom from Fear". Another popular film, "Forest Gump" drew tons of inspiration from Rockwell work, seen throughout much of the movie. Another fun moment is when Google featured a special logo for Rockwell for the day on the anniversary of his birthday. The list goes on, it doesn't take long looking around the art world to find something influenced by Norman Rockwell.
