Banksy, world-famous graffiti artist, continues to fascinate people around the world with his socially conscious artwork in cities everywhere. He is often attracted to cities where there is social or political unrest, which explains the multiple works he has created in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana after the devastating Hurricane Katrina damaged much of the city and ruined the lives of so many people there. One of these works is simply called Musicians,” which is a colorful piece in which a group of six musical artists appears to be walking down the street playing music together with trumpets, trombones and a large drum. The piece calls to mind the famous jazz music scene in New Orleans, which is a celebrated and well-known aspect of American culture.
