Owl Stencil
Owls are the symbol of wisdom, with their big round eyes and their thoughtful stare. These solitary, nocturnal birds have had important symbolism and mythological importance in many cultures around the world. The owl stencil represents death for some cultures and good luck in others. In Native American cultures, stories of owls were used to frighten children into staying inside at night with tales of how the owl would get them if they went outside.
In today's modern culture, we see the owl as something beautiful and difficult to get a glimpse of, which is why our owl stencil is a great addition to your decor. Stencil this design somewhere in your home and you will be able to enjoy its presence every day. You can paint the owl on a wall in a child's bedroom or home playroom or in a playroom at church or at a community center. Or you can take it smaller and create wood or metal art, stencil it onto furniture, or put it on decorative boxes, gift bags and boxes, or posters and signs.
No matter what you choose to do with the owl design stencil, you will see the detail come alive in your design. The big round eyes, the beak and ears, the feathery detail, and even the claws on the owl's feet. This level of detail is possible because we laser-cut all our stencils onsite in a variety of sizes, which include:
- 5” x 6”
- 8.5” x 11”
- 18” x 12”
- 24” x 18”
- 36” x 24”
- 48” x 32”
- 55” x 35”
So, choose the color you want your owl to be, make sure the paint is right for the surface, and secure the owl stencils. The detail will come alive in a crisp image once the stencil is removed. Then you can wash the stencil and save it for the next DIY project you come up with.
